The Wisconsin Association of Lakes quarterly publication, The Lake Connection, has in-depth analysis of legislative and agency policy proposals that may affect lakes, updates on WAL policy initiatives, success stories from local lake groups across the state, and articles about lake science and research that helps us better understand our lakes.

Our organization also produces up-to-the-minute e-mail updates about legislative progress, and action alerts calling for constituents to contact legislators for our membership.

The value of joining the Wisconsin Association of Lakes is not measured in newspapers, e-mails, or educational events. These tangible products and services are all support work for the real benefits that result from adding your voice to the only statewide group advocating for lakes: real change through proactive legislation.  

We rely on your generosity to keep our advocacy and policy work alive. About one-third of our annual operating budget comes from membership dues and donations from generous supporters.

Membership dues and donations are the sole support for our legislative and policy work.
