About the Wisconsin Lakes & Rivers Convention

The 2020 Wisconsin Lakes & Rivers Convention will be held April 1-3, 2020 at the Stevens Point Holiday Inn and Convention Center. This year’s theme is “Wisconsin Waters 2020: Focusing on Resilient Lakes & Rivers.” Find out more about this year’s event from our partner UW-Extension Lakes Program.

The Lakes & Rivers Convention resulted from the merging of the forty-two year old Wisconsin Lakes Partnership Convention, put on by the Wisconsin Lakes Partnership, and the Water Action Volunteers (WAV) Symposium. The Lakes Partnership is a collaborative effort of Wisconsin Lakes, UW-Extension Lakes Program, and the WI Dept. of Natural Resources. WAV is Wisconsin’s statewide citizen stream monitoring organization.
