The EPA wants to hear from you!
Listening session scheduled for Eau Claire
By Wisconsin Lakes staff
Tuesday night in Eau Claire, members of the public are invited to come and share their thoughts and concerns about the implementation of the Clean Water Act and Safe Drinking Water Act in Wisconsin to the Administrator of US EPA’s Region V, Robert Kaplan. Administrator Kaplan will give a brief description of the US EPA’s role in Wisconsin and its current activities in Wisconsin, and then he will hear from the public.
This is a great chance to not only raise concerns about threats to water quality protections in Wisconsin, but also to express appreciation for the role EPA and the federal government can play, as the agency and federal water laws face an uncertain future in the wake of the recent elections.
